The UG Science programme, B.Sc.(MPC), a conventional course wasfirst introduced in the college in the year 1998 with Physics as one of the core subject. As this college is located mainly in rural area, the stream was introduced in the Telugu Medium. With thechanging scenario and educational demands from the society another UG programme B.Sc(MPCS), a Re-structured course was introduced in the year 2001.At first our college is affiliated to ANDHRA UNIVERSITY, Visakhapatnam.

This institution underwent NAAC Accreditation in 2006 and awarded with B- Grade.From 2012-13 academic year the college is affiliated to Adikavi Nannaya University,Rajahmundry.

From 2015-16 academic year the college underwent autonomous status.B.Sc (EM) course was introduced in the year 2019.B.Sc (MPWt) combination of course is introduced in 2020-21 academic year with combination of Maths,Physics,Web Technology.
